Expertise: Rachel has over 12 years of experience writing and testing original Grid theory
texts and accompanying seminar materials for an international associate network. As director of
product development, she works as lead writer and editor for writing, testing, training, and
implementation of all new or revised Grid designs. She also oversees all custom designs and
applications for Grid and Instrumented Team Learning designs. She works with associates to write
and publish related research articles. McKee has written and co-managed Grid seminars and
train-the-trainer sessions in the U.S., Canada, United Kingdom, India, and Japan. Rachel
co-authored Grid Solution Selling with Dr. Blake, and is a co-author of the current
text for the Leadership Grid Seminar, The Power to Change, which has been translated
for delivery in Thailand, Spain, Japan, Singapore, India, Malaysia, Germany, Turkey,
Netherlands, Sweden, France, Italy, Quebec, Austria, Ireland, Mexico, China, Poland, Hungary, and
Czech Republic. She has also co-authored The Dimensions of Teamwork and is currently

Professional Background: Rachel has worked as a professional writer for the 18 years
since graduating from The University of Texas in Austin in 1987. She worked full time writing,
testing and co-managing Grid designs from 1992-1997 with Dr. Robert Blake (Grid theory and
company founder) to gain an understanding of the theory and design requirements. When Blake
retired in 1997, McKee took over the responsibility to maintain theory and design integrity as

Expertise: Don has been a Grid associate since 1998, and his experience with Grid goes back
to his first Grid Seminar as a participant in 1973. He is author of the recently released Service
Excellence Seminar and is currently writing a Balanced Scorecard Workshop for release in 2004.
For the past two years, he has facilitated the development of Grid International’s vision and
strategic planning effort, and has also done strategy work with Grid’s European Associates.
Professional Background: Don established his consulting practice, DJE Holdings Ltd., in 1998
following his retirement from the telecommunications industry. His goal with DJE Holdings is to
assist businesses in the development of their people skills, service culture, and management systems.
Don spent 31 years in corporate life with BC Tel, progressing to the executive level by 1989.
He continued in VP level positions until his retirement in 1998 as Vice President & General Manager,
BC Tel Supply.
Education: Don is a graduate of Harvard Business School (1993), and is very active in the
community. He is Chair of the Board of E-Comm Corporation (Emergency Communications for Southwest
B.C.), and Chair of Telecare Management Inc. He is Past-President of the Rotary Club of Vancouver,
and is a member of the Vancouver Board of Trade. He serves as a Director on the Boards of the West
Coast Railway Association and the Association of Railway Museums. He was awarded a Queen Elizabeth

Professional Background: Ms. McCormick has been employed by Grid International since 1988 where she

Expertise: Cheryl has more than 15 year’s experience of Grid consulting both as a client

is now active in product development and as an international instructor trainer, having facilitated

Leslie D'Souza

Expertise: Mr. D'Souza specializes in the Grid organization development process. He is a skilled
